Hospice Isle of Man are delighted to announce that the award-winning payment app; MuchBetter have partnered up with The Big Splash to support the Wild in Art trail in 2022, as a large sculpture sponsor.
The Big Splash is the largest mass participation art event to ever come to the Isle of Man and will see a trail of 30 life size Dolphins take centre stage on a public art trail live around the Island for 12 weeks from May – September 2022.
With MuchBetters’ focus on building strong partnerships with both organisations and individuals, Hospice are certain that their involvement with The Big Splash will be the perfect fit.
Jennie Gilbert, Head of HR at MuchBetter, said, “All of us at MuchBetter are honoured to support such a fabulous vital community service. Big Splash 2022 is such a fun and original initiative and we jumped at the chance to get involved!
We are all very excited to see the final dolphin designs and go searching for them in May-Sept next year! We truly hope that the Big Splash in 2022 goes on to raise a remarkable amount of money for a very worthy charity.”
Chief Executive of Hospice Isle of Man, Anne Mills said, “We are very grateful to MuchBetter for choosing to support The Big Splash in 2022. By backing the Wild in Trail, MuchBetter will help ensure that this event goes on to raise significant funds for patient care and our vital community services.
However, more than this, having MuchBetter on board will provide many exciting opportunities and developments as the partnership blossoms and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for both us and them.”
More than 30 individually designed ‘life sized’ dolphin sculptures along with over 30 baby dolphins (Calves) will form a trail of discovery across the Island next spring, encouraging residents and visitors alike to explore our environment from an exciting new perspective – whilst promoting our Biosphere, wellbeing and active lifestyles.
Each of these sculptures will be sponsored by local businesses who will benefit from an exciting range of PR and media opportunities prior to and throughout the trail itself. The Big Splash project has over 30 schools from across the Island working with our Education team on the Environment and will help to design one of the baby dolphins which form part of the Trail in 2022.
