Bright Beginnings Day Care’s dolphin is inspired by a popular children’s book, ‘Commotion in the Ocean’. Their pre-school children have shown an interest in learning all about ‘Commotion in the Ocean’ so it links to some fabulous learning experiences. The day care provider has also been able to start teaching an awareness of the environment and global warming using the commotion in the ocean wording to spark conversations. The sculpture will be a beautiful legacy for years to come, remembering The Big Splash project and what is represents.
