This dolphin was designed and painted by Year 9 pupils who take part in the Ballakermeen Art Department lunchtime club. The pupils decided they wanted to make the sculpture relevant to the current climate change issues. Focusing on plastic pollution, pupils painted fishing nets and various other forms of plastic pollution onto the dolphin, along with anti-plastic pollution slogans.
