We are over the moon to announce that our first sponsor has come on board for The Big Splash!
The Isle of Man Arts Council have joined us as our Education Project Sponsor, helping us oversee the Learning and Education side of our Wild in Art trail.
Speaking to Jane Corkill, Arts Development Manager, of The Isle of Man Arts Council, she said they are “delighted to be working with Hospice Isle of Man as the Education Partner for The Big Splash. As a sponsored body of the Department of Education, Sport and Culture and a Unesco Biosphere Isle of Man partner, we recognise the immediate benefits this exciting public art trail will present for our whole Island. We are very strongly aligned with the aim of The Big Splash which promotes the importance of creativity as fundamental to our wellbeing and sense of place, inspiring and educating people of all ages to enjoy the arts. There is so much creative talent here on the Island, and we are looking forward to investing in the Island’s creative community whilst developing knowledge, skills and understanding through this extraordinary project and partnership.”
